Oben Electric Enters Eastern India with Bhubaneswar Showroom, Marks Presence in 26 Cities Nationwide

Bhubaneswar, 6 Jun : Oben Electric, an R&D-driven homegrown electric motorcycle manufacturer, has made its foray into Eastern India with the launch of its showroom and service center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This strategic expansion brings Oben Electric’s national footprint to 37 showrooms across 26 cities, marking a significant step toward the company’s goal of establishing over 100 showrooms and service centers across India by year-end.With its entry into the eastern region, the company is now gearing up for further expansion across key cities in the area.
Located in the heart of Bhubaneswar, the new showroom is designed to meet the growing demand for electric motorcycles in the region. Odisha is emerging as a promising EV hub, propelled by progressive state policies, tax exemptions, and increasing interest in clean mobility, alongside rising consumer demand for performance-oriented city commuters. This makes Bhubaneswar a high-potential market for Oben’s expansion in Eastern India.
Drawing inspiration from Oben Electric’s flagship experience center in Bengaluru, the Bhubaneswar showroom offers a futuristic and immersive customer journey. It features four interactive zones: Moto Live, for hands-on product interaction; Moto X, for deep dives into Oben’s core components and EV technology; Moto Zen, a relaxed space for customer engagement; and Moto Rack, which showcases accessories and exclusive merchandise. The showroom is complemented by Oben Care, a dedicated service center providing comprehensive after-sales service, including doorstep service and RSA for enhanced convenience. With a strong focus on service readiness and spare parts availability, enabled by in-house manufacturing of all critical components, Oben Electric aims to deliver long-term customer satisfaction and build enduring rider relationships across regions.
At the center of this expansion is the Oben Rorr EZ, a high-performance electric motorcycle that delivers a powerful, reliable, and sustainable city commuting experience. Designed and built entirely in India, the Rorr EZ is available in three battery variants – 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh and equipped with high performance LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology that ensures 50% greater heat resistance and 2x battery lifespan. The motorcycle offers an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km, accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. With 80% charging achievable in just 45 minutes, it combines performance and practicality for daily urban commuting. The Rorr EZ is available at a starting price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) and with an easy down payment of just ₹7,999.
To celebrate the showroom launch, Oben Electric is offering a special inaugural benefit, customers who purchase the Oben Rorr EZ during the first month at the Bhubaneswar showroom will receive a complimentary gold coin.
