NEW DELHI,JAN 20 : Neeraj Chopra, the javelin superstar and two-time Olympic medallist, began a new chapter in his life as he tied the knot with his partner, Himani Mor, a former tennis player, in a dreamy private ceremony. Neeraj, known for keeping his personal life away from the limelight, surprised fans by sharing the first photos from the ceremony on social media on January 19.Currently, the newlyweds are in the United States for their honeymoon. Upon their return, the Chopra family plans to host a grand reception for extended family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the newly-weds.

All About Neeraj-Himani’s Dreamy Wedding

The couple’s wedding festivities spanned three days, starting with pre-wedding functions on January 14 and 15, culminating in the wedding on January 16. Held at a picturesque location in Shimla, the event was an intimate affair with only 40-50 attendees, comprising members from both families. Neeraj and Himani personally chose the location for their special day, ensuring it reflected their shared love for serene and scenic settings.

According to Neeraj’s uncle, Bheem Chopra, talking to India Today, the ceremony was kept private to honour the couple’s desire for a low-key celebration. After the wedding, the couple travelled to the United States for their honeymoon. The Chopra family plans to host a grand reception upon their return, inviting extended family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the joyous union.

Who is Himani Mor?

Himani Mor, a former tennis player from Sonipat, Haryana, played the sport during her college days at Miranda House, Delhi University. She furthered her studies in Sports Management at Southeastern Louisiana University and earned an MBA in Sports and Fitness Administration from Franklin Pierce University.

Currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at the Isenberg School of Management, Himani also serves as a graduate assistant at Amherst College in Massachusetts. She manages the women’s tennis team, excelling in roles like coaching, venue management, and strategic planning. Her professional journey reflects her passion for sports and management.
