My Transcend Beauty
My Transcend Beauty
Poet: Dr. Phani Mohanty

You and me
Though amused by the glimpse
But smiling from the core
On the pretext of not knowing
Moved ahead with our own fate silently.
Confined to that boundary line
Remained like strangers
In all weal and woes
For the rest of my life.
Oh my darling alien beauty!
Distracting me from my life
From which world of constellation
You avalanched as a golden queen
In the frozen December shiveringly.
Startled me suddenly in the eventide
Then entering into a wobbly dream
While pampering me wholly
Kissed my face adorably
When my body was lying
On the wrinkled bed miserably.
like creases on my palm
You are expanded fully,
distracts me at this age
Like all those unfinished
And unaltered poems of mine.
You are the one with all perfection
Flawless with excellence
Not being poured by that final offerings
Of all blazing Havana
Where miseries belch
From each corner
Of that bluish physique.
You are the infinite
Ocean of the dense clouds
Transcend beautiful with all splendour
My Nilanayana !
Coming to the dream
With diverse attires
Why do you misguide me ?
Had I known your pleasant arrival
Would I have seated here
Like a desperate lover.
Humming few lines of
Tika Govindchandra now
I would stop while moving
From door to door
But how unfortunate I am
Can’t be released from the rourab hell.
Though trying for a step ahead
Moves back from miles of steps.
Eagerly desperate I am
In the celebration of that flight of birds
And the melody of a cordial flute
In the illuminated gleam of moon
Make my heart so impatient.
Tried so hard from core of my heart
To cluch the Lotus for you
But diving from time to time
In a puddle full of mud
Waiting and waiting only for you
While sitting on the kadamba branch
With no begining and end.
