52nd National Safety Day and Week begins at Paradip Port

Bhubaneswar,Madch 4: “Our Aim – Zero Harm” as the theme, observation of the 52nd National Safety Day and Week began at Paradip Port Authority. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Shri P L Haranadh, Chairman, PPA inaugurated Safety Week Celebrations in the morning.

He flagged off an awareness rally of employees and workers from Officers’ Club chowk, which culminated at Gate No. 4 of PPA. Capt. A.C. Sahoo, CME (I/c), Shri Chandan Panigrahi, Dy. CEE, Shri Deepak Rath, Dy. CME, Shri Pradeep Kumar Kar, Safety Officer, PPA, Director of M/s. Chennai Radha, Shri B R Ramu, Regional Manager  Shri A. Ramesh, co-ordinated the event. As part of weeklong celebrations, various awareness activities like safety essay, debate and poster competitions among employees and ports users, seminars, dock safety training programmes will be conducted.
