11th Annual Conference of Private Homeopathic Practitioners’ Association held in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, April 13: The 11th annual conference of the Private Homeopathic Practitioners’ Association was held on April 10, 2026 at the conference hall of Bhanja Kala Mandap in Bhubaneswar, coinciding with the celebration of the 272nd birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy.

The event was presided over by the association’s State President, Dr. Netrananda Bhoi. Eminent personalities including Professor Sudhanshu Sekhar Singh, Dr. Laxman Panda, former secretary of the association Dr. Prabhas Acharya, former minister Debendra Nath Mansingh, former MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, and BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan attended the programme as chief guests and speakers.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, the speakers highlighted the growing acceptance of homeopathic treatment both in the state and across the country. They emphasised that homeopathy is gaining popularity due to its effectiveness and minimal side effects, providing quality healthcare to patients.

On the occasion, Dr. Anil Behera, Dr. Bana Bihari Nayak, and Gandharba Barik were conferred with the “Ekalavya Samman” for their contributions to the field.

Among others present were Vice-President Jagannath Das, General Secretary Prafulla Kumar Barik, Advisor Nihar Ranjan Biswal, and members Kapilendra Giri, Sushant Kumar Bhol, Ashok Acharya, Ananta Narayan Sahu, Bikash Ranjan Mohanty, Sujit Pradhan, Narayan Bishoi, and Kalpana Kumari Dei.

A souvenir and a calendar published by the association were also released by the dignitaries during the event.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Ranjit Acharya.
