NTPC organises state-level painting competition 2023

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 22: A state Level Painting Competition – 2023 on Energy Conservation was on Tuesday organised by Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency Govt of India at Institute of Engineers, Bhubaneswar.
The NTPC was the nodal Agency for conducting the competition on behalf of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
The theme of the competition was;
(i) LiFE – Mindful and Deliberate Utilization, Instead of Mindless and Destructive Consumption
(ii) One Earth, Many Efforts.
NTPC ER-II Headquarters co-ordinated the State Level Painting Competition – 2023 in the State of Odisha.
Shri Partha Muzumder, Regional Executive Director, NTPC (Eastern Region -II) was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Smt. Soudamini Dash, Jt. Director (OSEPA), Shri Rajnish Rastogi, General Manager (HR),NTPC and Er. Sangram Keshari Pattnayak, Hon’ Secretary, Odisha State Centre, Institute of Engineers were the guests of the honour in the programme for giving away the prizes and encouraging the students.
The students of 47413 schools in 30 districts of Odisha participated in the School Level Competition whereas 100 students-50 each in category A & B participated in the State Level Competition.
The details of top three winners of State Level Competition are as under:
Category-A (5th to 7th Class)
First Aradhya of DAV Public School, CS Pur Bhubaneshwar
Second ShriyasPanda,ofMaculay School ,Cuttack
Third Anita Routray of Sai international School, Bhubaneshwar
Category-B: (8th to10th Class)
First Debanshi Mohanty of KendriyaVidhyala No 1, Bhubaneshwar
Second Ashirbad Das DAV Public School, MCL Dera
Third Rachana Mohapatra , LR DAV Public School, Cuttack
There were ten consolation prizes in each group.
Top three winners of the State Level Competition 2023 of each Category A & B shall later participate in the National Level Painting Competition- 2023 at New Delhi on 11.12.2023.
