MUSIC DIRECTOR RAJAKISHORE CREATES WORLD’S FIRST PEACE ANTHEM

Bhubaneswar, Dec. 8; Every now and then we are hearing of violence, war, terrorism from different corner of the world. Is there any end to this? Are we born to lead our lives with such an environment? No not really. We all need peace, happiness in our life.
So with an objective of spreading the message of happiness, unity, harmony, brotherhood and to establish world peace, renowned music director from Odisha Rajakishore Gochhayat has created a World Peace Anthem – We have the Denizens of our Earth. Youth artist from several countries across the globe has given their voice in this Anthem.
Working as Music Teacher in DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Rajkeshore conceptualizew this World Peace Anthem in 1999 with an objective to spread the peace harmony, unity and brotherhood among the people by eradicating violence, differences and the habit of creating wars between countries. Also it’s an appeal to emphasize on educating the kids of ethics and spirituality during the tough time of the world.
World Peace Anthem
We’ve the denizens of our Earth.
The mother who has given us birth.
The blood runs in us is same.
Peaceful world is our aim.
We share our joys & share our help.
We live blissfully in the Nature’s Lap.
We all are on the same ferry.
And sail with God, the only Jury.
Speaking on this noble initiative, Bipin Ku. Sahoo, Principal, DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar said “This is a noble act of transmitting the notion of peace & harmony, a mission to forward global brotherhood. As a creative artist, Rajkishore Gochhayat deserves kudos for this unique initiative. May his endeavour bear fruits! May PEACE be our coveted trajectory!!
Especially from three subjects, Rajakishore got the motivation to think about this world peace anthem.One from the poem of great Odia poet Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi who said “Praaninka Aarata Dukha apramita dekhu dekhu kiba sahu, mo jibana pachhe narke padithau Jagata Uddhara Hau” which means – Let the sorrows of the beasts endure, and let my life be left in the hell but the world to be saved. 2nd from the great Gujrati poet Narasingha Mehta : Baishnaba Janato tene kahiye je pid paraay jaanere- para dukhe upakar kara toye mana abhimaan n anere- which means Only he is a man of God who understand the pain of others, one who does good to others, without pride letting in his mind. And from the Vaidik Darshan Sastra Hitopodesh – “Ayam nijah paroveti ganana laghuchetasam, udaracharitanantu vasudhaiva kutumbakamwhich means Only ignorant or narrow minded people think about in terms of me, mine and not mine, while for the broad -minded one, the whole world is like a family, like own.etc included. Form those two poems he got the world love affection and according to the Indian Vaidik Darshan- The whole world is one family. So Rajakishore impressed and motivated with these topics.
Present on this occasion Pradeep Mohapatra, Founder RoofStage and National Coordinator, World Odisha Society said, “Music has always played an important role in enthreading emotions. World Peace Anthem is not just a musical offering but an emotion. World Peace Anthem is a sincere endeavor in this regard to connect all emotionally. Rest all will fall in place subsequently.”
If the world is a family then there is a need of a single anthem. Every country has its own National Anthem which boost the national unity in the country likewise a world anthem will create the world unity.
Rajakishore said, “There is a song of United Nation which we called as UN Song, but we can’t take UN as the whole world. There are many countries which are out of the United Nation. So any anthem created to bring harmony, peace and unity of each and every country and the world as a whole can be definitely called as the World Peace Anthem. There are many peace songs in the world but I don’t think there is any World Peace Anthem till now.
So this may be the first World Peace Anthem on this earth. Starting from lyric, music composition, voice dubbing till recording everything was being done in between the year 1999 to 2021. The duration of the song is 50 sec. Rajakishore Gochhayat has done the conceptualization, lyric, music composition, and direction part of the song. Bibhu Prasad Tripathy has done the programming and English translation is done by Jagadish Chandra Dash Adhikari. Singers some countries across the globe including India have given their voice in this song. This Peace Anthem will be complete, only when singers from each country on the earth will participate and give their voice.
