South Africa battles it out with Canada; Korea set to face off with Egypt

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 30: FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup will be interacting battles today.

In the morning, the mighty South Africa will take on Canada while Pakistan will clash with United States.

In the afternoon, Poland, another strong contender for the title, will vie for honour with Chile.

In another encounter, Korea will face Egypt which has shown strong performance in the tournament so far.

As many as 16 teams are battling it out for FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s Junior WC -2021 which began in Bhubaneswar on November 24.

All four teams in their respective pools are aiming to finish in the top half their pool as the top two teams from each pool will qualify for the quart tournament.

In Pool A, European heavyweights Belgium is facing off against South Africa.

“India is, of course, a force to watch playing at home with the c Belgium coach Jeroen Baart said.

Playing at the iconic Kalinga Stadium, India has so far made a tremendous journey in the tournament by some convincing wins.
