JAJPUR,JULY 26 : Happy Kargil Vijay Diwas to all of us. Let’s remember the sacrifice of those brave soldiers who died in the line of duty to protect our great nation.

The Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorates the valiant efforts and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Force. kargil Vijay Diwas is observed in India every year on July 26 to commemorate the sacrifices made by the soldiers in the Kargil War.

No doubt the war represents an example of high-altitude warfare in mountainous terrain and constitutes significant logistical problems for the counter sides. In the war, ‘Operation Vijay’ was launched by the Indian Army to recapture the Indian territories from Pakistani intruders in the Kargil-Drass sector in 1999. ‘Operation Vijay’ an Indian Army mission achieved ultimate success for India and the Air Force called the mission ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ .
