World Environment Day 2024 was observed at PPA

Paradip, June 5: With the theme Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience, World Environment Day 2024 was observed at Paradip Port Authority. A mass plantation drive was conducted at GC Colony. Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA along with Shri Nilabhra Dasgupta, Dy. Chairman, PPA planted saplings.
Other HoDs of PPA, colony inhabitants & volunteers of Paradip Saksharata Samiti, the social arm of PPA also planted saplings. Later, Shri P.L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA flagged off walkathon on greenery development in the locality by PSS volunteers and PPA garden workers.
