We must always remember of real heroes

Gunupur (Rayagada/Odisha): We all Indians love our country and wish to remain safe and secure forever. However, it is crucial to reflect on our contributions towards our nation’s well-being. It is essential to ask ourselves this question. While we take pride in our free and independent India, we often forget the real heroes who made this freedom possible.
Many brave martyrs have laid down their lives for our safety and security, yet we remain unaware of their names and sacrifices. These selfless soldiers left behind their families, giving up their own lives so that we could live in peace. It’s heartbreaking to think about the hardships and grief their families must be enduring today.
To honor these martyrs and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten, I urge the Government of India to take meaningful steps. One significant way to do this is by naming important public places and institutions after our martyrs. For instance:
Villages and Towns: Rename the villages or towns where these martyrs hailed from in their honor.
Educational Institutions: Schools, colleges, and universities should bear the names of these heroes, inspiring students and keeping their memories alive.
Public Infrastructure: Bus-stands, railway stations, roads, and parks can be named after these martyrs as a tribute to their ultimate sacrifice.
By doing this, we can ensure that the coming generations remember and respect the martyrs who fought for our country. These acts of remembrance will instill a sense of pride and patriotism in our youth, reminding them of the values and courage that shaped our nation.
Moreover, creating memorials and organizing events in their honor can further highlight their contributions. Documentaries, books, and school curricula should include their stories to educate the public about their bravery and dedication.
Such initiatives will not only honor our martyrs but also serve as a constant reminder of the price of our freedom and the importance of national unity and security.
