UK’s SRAM & MRAM Group declares Rs 2 lakh Cr investment in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Dec.7: United Kingdom’s SRAM & MRAM Group vice chairman Dr Gurujee Kumaran Swami has declared Rs 2 lakh crore investments in phased manner in the semiconductor business in Odisha.

The declaration was made during the recently concluded ‘Make in Odisha Conclave 2022,’ an official release of the company said on Tuesday.

 The Group vice chairman Dr Gurujee Kumaran Swami and company’s Odisha incharge Dr Debadutta Singh Deo, at a press briefing, informed that they will invest Rs 30,000 crore in the first phase.

The announcement came following an interaction with chief minister Naveen Patnaik and detailed discussions with the state chief secretary P K Mohapatra, industry secretary Hemant Sharma and other top officials.

Among others the press briefing was attended by Govt.officials, Mr. Gaurav Ralhan, Mr. L. N. Agrawal, Er. Rohini Singh Deo and Er. Priyanka Singh Deo.
