Pitambar Behera, AGM-PR of UAIL, serves communities through innovative initiatives

Bhubaneswar, Aug. 30: Mr Pitambar Behera, Assistant General Manager-PR, Liaison, and External Affairs with Utkal Alumina International Ltd (UAIL), is making waves in industry, social and many other sectors as true and real perfectionist.

Mr Behera’s innovative initiatives and interventions have enviably endeared him to the UAIL authorities as well as the masses living the project periphery villages in Kashipur in Odisha’s Rayagada district. He successfully handled the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and the cholera calamity in Kashipur block in 2022.

As a representative of UAIL, Pitambar Behera has been a part of many community events. He has always made his presence felt in communities through sustainable engagement initiatives. The AGM’s works have been well recognized on many occasions by the local administration.

A simple and virtuous man as he is, Mr Behera leads a easy and plain lifestyle at the workplace and among his friends.

According to the UAIL AGM, in any organisation, public relations and external affairs are essential for dealing with the community and creating opportunities for development by liaising with local administration. The effectiveness of such departments solely relies on the team’s ability to gather goodwill among stakeholders.

“Public Relations is an important tool to reach out to the masses, understand their needs and problems and find tangible solutions to them. I feel proud and blessed to be a part of this great area of service,” says Pitambar.

Mr Behera has earlier worked with corporate giants such as Tata, Jindal and Oswal Group.
