Six youths drowned- all the bodies fished out

Jajpur, March 20 :  Six  youths  met watery graves while taking bath in the river Kharosotra   near Badasuar  ghat in Jajpur district on Friday   after playing Holi .

All  the  six   deceased    were identified as  Shubam Jena  (16), Krishna Jena ( 19) , Rahul Jena ( 18)  and  Karan Jena ( 19)  of village  Bandhamunda village and Sumbit  Jena ( 18) and Babuli Jena  ( 19) of Jalapur  under Jajpur town police station.  

All the  six  youths   slipped into the  water and drowned while taking bath in the river after playing colour of festival .

Bodies of Subham Jena and Sumbit Jena were recovered on Friday  night and  bodies of Krishna Jena , Rahul Jena and Karan Jena  were later fished out by fire brigade men on  Saturday. 

The body of Babul Jena was found in the river on Sunday  morning.   Bodies have been sent for post mortem , said the IIC of Jajpur town police station, Ajay Kumar Jena.
