Sheezan Khan’s judicial custody extended by 14 days in Tunisha Sharma’s death case
NEWDELHI,DEC 31: Sheezan Mohammed Khan’s judicial custody has been extended for 14 days, arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his co-actor Tunisha Sharma. The 27-year-old actor was arrested by Valiv Police in Palghar district on December 26 for allegedly abetting Sharma’s suicide.Tunisha Sharma, who was acting in the TV serial Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul alongside the actor, was found hanging in the make-up on the set of the show near Vasai on December 24.
SHEEZAN KHAN’S CUSTODY EXTENDED
After a magistrate’s court on December 29 extended the police custody of actor Sheezan Khan for a day, the actor’s judicial custody has now been extended by 14 days. The lawyers of the actor will not apply for bail. In the last few days, police had complained about Sheezan not cooperating during the investigation. Police said in the court that the actor is not telling the password of his Google and mail ID. In his defense, the police told the court that Sheezan is pretending to have forgotten the passwords. However, the lawyer for the star said that since Sheezan’s cell phone is with the police, the password can be cracked by any expert.
APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY SHEEZAN’S TEAM
The legal team representing the actor has submitted four applications before the court. They mentioned that his hair should not be cut when in judicial custody. They also mentioned that Sheezan should be provided medicines along with home-cooked food. Apart from this, his legal team specifically mentioned that his family and lawyer should be allowed to meet before taken into Judicial custody. And the last point clearly specified that the media trial should be stopped.
‘SHEEZAN FORCED TUNISHA TO FOLLOW ISLAM’
Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma made shocking claims about Tunisha and Sheezan’s relationship. In a press conference, she alleged that Tunisha once checked Sheezan’s phone. Apparently, Tunisha caught her speaking to some other girl, post which, both had a fight. Vanita claimed that they broke up because of this.
