Jajpur , Jan 24: Well-known  Sapath  social   Organization  virtually  celebrate National Girl Child Day at Badachana in Jajpur district On Monday On This occasion Most Papular Writer Er Taraprasad Mishra join as Chief Guest. Mishra Said A world without girl is as impossible as a world without water. ‘The world could come to a standstill without the existence of girl child. “The world needs strong women. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. Women of indomitable will.” 

Therefore, every year, National Girl Child Day is celebrated on January 24 to raise awareness to promote the rights, education, health, and nutrition of the girl child across the country. The day was initiated by the Ministry of Women and child development, providing support and opportunity for girls in India. The day was first created by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in 2008 to raise awareness of the importance of girl child.

An initiative to eliminate gender-based discrimination in society and to bring about a change in behaviour towards girls in this male-preferred world. The government has made many schemes for the development of the girl childlike Save the Girl Child, Bati Bachao Beti Padhao, and many more. The day plays a significant role as it is based on the empowerment of girls as they are killed, aborted due to sexual abuse, face gender inequality, and lack many opportunities which are provided to boys in society. So, on this day, various ministries and multiple organisations organize events to empower girls for their betterment.

The central and the state governments also issue campaigns and policies for the growth of girl child across the country.said Mishra. “To all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.” Said Engnieer Arun Pattnaik, among Others Social worker Mohan Moharana,Sasmita Moharana and others present on this Occasion.
