RBI plays a pivotal role in India’s rapid economic growth: Subhrakant Panda

Bhubaneswar, Nov. 23:  Subhrakant Panda, president, FICCI and Managing Director, IMFA spoke at the inaugural session of FIBAC 2023 which is the flagship event of the banking sector and is jointly organised by FICCI& the Indian Banks’ Association annually in Mumbai.

The event was graced by Shri Shaktikanta Das, RBI Governor and other dignitaries like Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI and Amitabh Chaudhry, MD, Axis Bank among others.

Mr Panda said, “The RBI has played a key role in the evolution of the banking sector in India, and its measured actions have strengthened banks which are well positioned to support India’s rapid economic growth.”

In his remarks, Shri Das said RBI will maintain an unerring focus on controlling inflation even as it takes into account various external factors.
