Paraba-2022 to begin from November 17 from Sahid Laxman Naik’s Tentuliguma village

Koraput, Nov. 5: Parab, Koraput’s mega cultural extravaganza, will begin from November 17 from freedom fighter Sahid Laxman’s village Tentuliguma.

According to Koraput Collector Koraput Mr. Abdaal M. Akhtar, IAS, the cultural event will continue till December 21.

“We are going to host Parab 2022 from December 17 to 21. The event will showcase the local tribal music and dance. Besides, tribal cultural troupes from outside the state will also participate in the event. This will be a cultural Mahakumbh,” said the Collector.

He informed that a souvenir will be published on the occasion chronicling articles on tribal life and culture.

“During the festival, sports events, fine art and mountaineering will happen which will surely attract tourists. We have arranged a strong traffic mechanism for smooth movement of the people,” the collector said.
