National Sports Day observed by Paradip Port Sports Council

 Paradip, Aug.29 : National Sports Day observed by Paradip Port Sports Council on today at Gopabandhu Stadium. This date commemorates the birth Anniversary of Legendary HockeyWizard, Major Dhyan Chand, who is regarded as one of the greater Hockey players in History. This day is dedicated to promoting awareness about the importance of sports and physical fitness in daily life.

During the observation, Shri D.N. Sondhi, President, Shri D.P. Sethy, Working President & Sri R.R. Beura, Secretary, Paradip Port Sports Council expressed to the gathering on the importance of National Sports Day. Among others, Sri Sanjaya Kumar Das, Volley Ball Coach, Smt. Itishree Mohanty, Joint  Secretary, Sri Dhuna Charan Tarai, Joint Secretary and all the Technical members and staff of Gopabandhu Kreeda Sansad & Players were present on the occasion.
