Jilted youth arrested for killing girl’s mother and injuring her and her father

Jajpur,JULY  7 :  A 25 year old jilted youth was arrested on Tuesday on the charges of killing the girl’s mother and injuring her and her father at village Mirjapur  under Dharmasala police station in Jajpur district on Sunday night.

 The accused Sunil Kumar Jena of Mirazapur village   who was turned down by the  girl  he loved killed her mother  and also seriously injured her  and her father . He had a one-sided love with the girl.  Recently the parents of the girl abused him which made him furious. He took a sharp weapon  and attacked them  on Sunday night , said Chinmaya Nayak, the Sub- Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Jajpur.

The body of Tarulata Biswal (50) the teacher of the government managed  Ananta Kumari girls’ high school at Mirzapur was found lying in a pool of blood, bearing injured marks on her chin and at the back of head.  Deceased’s husband  Nityananda Mallick (55) and their 17 year old daughter were also found in a critical condition in the house.   During the investigation, police got some clues which led to the arrest of the accused.  We also seized the blood soaked sharp weapon from him.  The accused was booked under 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) of IPC. He was produced in the court at Jajpur on  Tuesday. The court rejected his bail application and remanded him into jail custody, added the police officer
