International Day of Persons With Disabilities observed by PPA

Paradip ,Dec. 3: Paradip Port Authority organised an event at PPA Administrative Building on the occasion of International Day of Persons With Disabilities. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Shri P.L. Haranadh  saluted the spirit of determination of the school children and mentioned that PPA would take necessary steps within its ambit for the all-round development of the school. Dr. P N Bahekar, Secretary, PPA, Capt. Alekh Sahoo, DC, PPA were also present.

Chairman, PPA announced Rs 25,000/- financial assistance to Ms. Laxmi Singh, student of Class X in Jagruty school, who recently participated in the Indian blind & para Judo championship held at Amritsar. He also distributed gifts to the differently-abled employees of Paradip Port Authority. Smt. P. Girija Sundari, President, Paradip Ladies Club presented school kits to the Children of Jagruty. Paradip Ladies Club led the monetary assistance to the school.
