BJP NOMINEE ASHOKA BARIK HIGHLY HOPEFUL TO WIN 38 ZP SEAT

Balasore, Feb. 18: Mrs. Ashoka Barik, an educated woman, has been in the election fray as the BJP nominee for the post of Zilla Parisad (ZP) member for zone 38 of Balasore district.

She is making serious efforts to register her victory.

 ZP zone number 38 consists of seven gram panchayats such as Barunasing and Kuligaon, Inchudi, Maharajpur, Tundra, Talapada and Srijang.

Around 30,766 voters are going to decide the future of Mrs Barik.

Ajay Kumar Barik, an advocate -cum-sitting sarpanch of Tundra gram panchayat who is brother -in-law of Ashoka Barik is taking all the responsibility of her election campaign.

Ashoka says she will win this time.

“My victory  is almost confirmed as Ajay Kumar Barik, two times sarpanch (2007–2012 &2017–2022) he has done many extraordinary works. This is why people support me to continue his development works. So majority voters are in favour of the BJP,” she claims.

Another factor which she claims will ensure her victory is that her opponent candidate is ‘misdeeds’ in the past.

Ajay Kumar Barik is single throughout his life and spends whole time for people’s service.

“My brother-in-law believes ‘service to mankind is service to God’ and I follow his principle in letter and spirits,” she said.
