BJP fulfills manifesto promise;All gates of Puri Jagannath Temple opened for devotees ; MLA Himanshu

JAJPUR, JUN 13 : Dharamasala Independent MLA Himanshu Sekhar Sahoo Said As promised by the Bharatiya Janata Party in its manifesto, all four dwaras (gates) of Puri Jagannath Temple were opened for devotees on Thursday.
The gates were opened during the Mangala Alati today in the presence of the Council of Ministers.He Said Just hours after taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Odisha on Wednesday, Mohan Majhi chaired the first cabinet meeting of the new government and took 4 key decisions in line with the pre-poll promises made by the BJP in its Sankalp Patra.He Said The doors of the temple were closed during the Covid pandemic.
Later, only the Singhadwara (Lion Gate) was opened for devotees; but Ashwa Dwara (Horse Gate), Vyaghra Dwara (Tiger Gate), Hasti Dwara (Elephant Gate) on the four sides of the temple remained shut. Following the development, the Puri Srimandir witnessed a huge rush and long queues in front of the Singhadwara. Since then, devotees had been demanding the opening of the gates for smooth darshan of the Holy Trinity.
Opening all four gates of the Srimandir was among the big pre-election promises of the BJP.He Said Big Thanks Our Cm Mohan Majhi & BJP Government.
