Among the raised Shatayu, only two are males while all the others are females. Similarly, the number of Shatayu is higher in the rural areas of the non-irrigated areas than in the irrigated areas of the district and in the urban areas of the district. Not even one was found to be a centenarian.
Apart from this, it was found that all the promoted Shatayus were economically weak, did not consume any kind of drugs, and did not take medical medicines. Organiser Dr. Rama Krushna Purohit said people living long has strong gene for slow ageing. thin build, hardworking, tensionless disease-free people.
