7 arrested by Paradip police for illegal loading, transportation of coking coal

Paradip, Oct. 20 : On 05.10.2021 night CISF and traffic department of Paradeep port detected eighteen trucks wherein costly coking coal was loaded and seven trucks were in a queue to be loaded with the said material without having supportive documents for such loading/transporting. In this connection port was doing an in-house enquiry. In the meantime on receipt of icc case no 292 of 2021, the instant case was registered at Paradeep PS and police started its investigation. During investigation primafacie evidence was established against some accused persons. Today in this case seven accused persons namely, Soumya Ranjan Satpathy, Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, Chinmay Bhuyan,  Susanta Kumar Samal, Sarada Prasad Ojha, Prakash Mallick and Bhagirathi Pradhan(Pay loading operator) all of In Machinery have been arrested and forwarded to court. Investigation is on to find the complicity of other persons in this case.
