2nd AGM of Odisha Transformer Manufacturers Association Highlights Significant Progress

Bhubaneswar, 21 April 2024: The Odisha Transformer Manufacturers Association (OTMA) convened its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21st April 2024, marking a significant milestone in the journey of the association. The AGM provided a platform for members to review the progress made over the past year, discuss key industry developments, and chart the course for the future.Sri Gouri Shankar Dash, Chairman of OASME and Sri Satwik Swain, Secretary General OASME graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Sri Sarada Prasanna Das, Acting President of OTMA, Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Acting General Secretary, OTMA, Bijaya Kishore Nanda, Acting Joint Secretary, OTMA were present on this occasion.
Speaking on this occasion Sri Sarada Prasanna Das, Acting President, OTMA said, “As we gather for our 2nd Annual General Meeting, I am reminded of the immense strides we’ve taken together as the Odisha Transformer Manufacturers Association. Our commitment to excellence and collaboration has propelled us forward, driving growth and innovation in our industry. During the AGM, several important announcements were made, including the election of newly appointed office bearers who will lead the association in its mission to promote and strengthen the transformer manufacturing sector in Odisha.
More than 100 members across the districts of Odisha were present on this occasion and took part in the election process. 10 members who couldn’t attend the AGM took part in the election process virtually.
Mr Sarada Prasanna Das was re-elected as the President of the association. After re-elected as the new president of the association Mr Sarada Prasanna Das expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him by the members as he assumes the role of President. He emphasized the commitment of the newly elected office bearers to serve the interests of the association and its members diligently.
“I am deeply honoured to have been re elected as General Secretary, of the Odisha Transformer Manufacturers Association. As we embark on this journey, I am committed to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and advocating for the collective interests of our members. Together, we will work towards advancing the transformer manufacturing sector in Odisha and contributing to the growth and development of the industry,” said Mr Pradeep Kumar Nayak.
