2-day annual conference of AOGO underway in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Oct. 30: The 45th Annual Conference of AOGO has started from October 29. In this two-day conference around 500 O & G specialist and teaching faculties including Post graduates from all the medical college of Odisha. AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and from outside the state are participating.
In this conferences Scientific Papers, Poster presentation, Panel discussions, debate, key note address, video sessions and quiz on High Risk Pregnancy are arranged.
The theme of this conference is “Women’s Health”. More importance is given for discussions regarding reduction of Maternal mortality rate & Infant mortality rate. Also the discussion is being held on preventive aspect of gynaecological cancer and on High risk Pregnancy.
A panel discussion has been arranged amongst gynaec specialists, judiciary, social activists, police and administrators to discuss regarding prevention of Violence against women.
Sj. Prof. Achyuta Samanta MP graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Dr.H.D. Pai, President, FOGS! from Mumbai graced the occasion as Guest of honour.
Prof (Dr.) Sujata Mohanty Oration & AOGO Oration has delivered as Prof (Dr.) H.D. Pai & Prof. (Dr) Tushar Kar.
The Inauguration was followed by cultural programme by Postgraduate students of all medical colleges of out states. Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Swain delivered the Annual Report Prof (Dr.) Tushar Kar, President AOGO has delivered the Welcome Address.
